What about web 2.1?

Many people are now beginning to thinking of the “web 2.0 wawe” as a heavy and stressing burden. Being a member of still more networks, where you chat, twitter, blog, discus and provide reviews, photos, videos, soundbites etc. etc. while receiving still more messages, comments, emails, friends requests etc. that you feel obliged to react upon, some people suddenly feel tempted to move out into the wood and be let in peace from this permanent attention and engagement demanding twittering.

I think this should not be the solution to cope with web 2.0!
But it IS really a hard nut to crack how to be able to participate in relevant networks to be upfront with all the news, WITHOUT getting overloaded.

Thus I think the new thing - web 2.1 ? - must be the development of some services that can facilitate seamless communication and transfer of “friends” between the various platforms. So Jaiku, Pownce, LinkedIn, Xing, Facebook, Gmail etc. just are various aspects of your “social life” on the web. You only write a list of interest once, only connect with friends and contacts once, etc. etc. (via Public Notes from Willumsgaard 2.0 .)
